Heather Gold
Heather Gold is a nationally touring comedian and speaker. She’s creator of the hit interactive play “Cookie,” the winner of Curve’s national theatre award and a (video)blogger at subvert.com since 1998. A conversation on her talk show led to the creation of EqualityCamp. Her June marriage was recognized by California and, more enduringly, by Marie Claire.
Tara Hunt
Tara Hunt is an author, speaker and consultant and runs her own business, Citizen Agency and her own Coworking space, Citizen Space in San Francisco. She has a book coming out in April of 2009 called The Whuffie Factor and is a serial BarCamp thrower (including TransitCampBayArea and HeroCamp). It was Tara who suggested EqualityCamp on Heather’s talk show.
Cathy Brooks
Cathy Brooks is a writer, producer and business strategy consultant. She has launched several podcasts including I of Innovation and Six Minutes With and has produced content for major technology conferences such as DEMO, Innovate!Europe and LeWeb. Deeply saturated in all things social media, Cathy offers frequent commentary on many platforms including Seesmic and her weekly column for BitchBuzz. She’s not married, but would like the option.
Hillary Hartley
Hillary Hartley has been married thrice during the last four years of marriage equality adventures in California — each time to the same gal. A frequent speaker on the eGov/Gov 2.0 circuit, and a coworker at Citizen Space in San Francisco, she’s a geek enamoured with social media, photography, BarCamps, coworking, and her lawfully wedded wife (and dog).
Adina Levin
Adina still needs to put her bio up here, but she blogs at her Book Blog and is the co-founder of Social Text. She is also super politically involved and has worked on other *camps such as TransitCampBayArea and BarCampBlock.
